Best cheese fondue I've ever had.
Serve with your favorite bread for dipping. Enjoy.
Cheese Fondue
INGREDIENTS
- 1 & 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 2 cups Swiss cheese
- 2 cups Monterey cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 Tbs. corn starch
DIRECTIONS
- In a small bowl mix the cornstarch with the 1/4 cup chicken broth and let stand several minutes
- In the fondue pot, heat 1 3/4 cups chicken broth with the clove of garlic. When boiling, add the cornstarch mixture and seasonings.
- When mixture is very hot and thick, add grated cheeses and blend well. Serve with cubed french bread pieces.
